Theatre for Trees

This program focuses on environmental issues and works with environmental partners, primarily Biological Reserve Cerro Hermoso in Oakland, CA. Currently, this program is in development with elements of community-based workshops and productions that will be produced in outdoor venues. We are exploring partnerships/funding in three areas: Oakland/San Leandro, SF Peninsula, and Oaxaca Mexico. This is Fuse’s newest program, and it is at the beginning stages of development.

Program Coordinator

Christine Burke

Christine Burke (she/her) has never been afraid to speak her mind; a passion that quickly morphed into advocating for the disability community. For over twenty years Christine has fought to help people discover the strength of their voice through the conduits of education, performance and public speaking.  Before COVID, you could find Christine on or near a stage, traipsing The Happiest Place on Earth, writing away on her blog, and attending various musical theatre and/or geek conventions from California to New York. She is beyond humbled to have served the disability community as Ms. Wheelchair America 2022, working to put disability back in diversity.
